Bouquet d'Affiches

A joyful celebration of the art of the poster, this lithograph was created by Hervé Morvan for the exhibition Bouquet d'Affiches held at the Bibliothèque Nationale de Paris from 23 May to 25 June 1978. The composition — a caricatural figure cheerfully brandishing a bundle of rolled posters — is pure Morvan: rounded forms, bold colours, and an irresistible sense of playfulness that made him one of the most beloved French graphic artists of the 20th century.
