An original TWA destination poster by David Klein — the artist who defined the visual identity of the jet age. Between 1955 and 1965, Klein produced a celebrated series of posters for Trans World Airlines, each a bold, graphic celebration of a destination. For Boston, he chose the Revolutionary War drum as his central motif, surrounding it with the city's most iconic landmarks: the Old State House, the Old North Church, a tall ship, and the Goddess of Liberty. History made vivid.
This "Fly TWA Jets" edition perfectly embodies the glamour and optimism of early commercial aviation.
