A milestone of Italian graphic design, rendered with characteristic economy and wit. Giovanni Mingozzi (1891–1975), the Bolognese graphic artist and founder of the ATLA advertising agency, places the focus squarely on the product: the instantly recognisable Campari Soda bottle alongside a matching glass, their shared conical silhouette doing all the work. No slogan, no scene — pure Object Poster logic.
The bottle itself is a design icon in its own right. Conceived in 1932 by Futurist artist Fortunato Depero for Davide Campari, it was the world's first single-serve pre-mixed aperitif — a frosted truncated cone, unlabelled, with the brand name embossed directly into the glass. Its intense red contents complete the composition. Mingozzi's 1950s poster amplifies that iconic form with clean lines and a modernist restraint that has kept the image timelessly fresh.
This is a 1980s official reprint, in the same format as the original, signed in the plate.
This piece is sold unframed, carefully rolled and shipped in a rigid tube to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
